Emma Yarbrough

Emma was born and raised in North Aurora and has been a dancer since she was 3 years old, and started at Stephanie’s when she was 13 years old. She started competing when she was 11 and has danced under the direction of: Debra Nanni, Joe Muisel, Tiffany Krause, Stephanie Clay, Jordan Mercer, Annie McWilliams, and several other renowned choreographers and dancers. She has won several regional and national awards under their direction, performed in many events such as Dance Chicago, and continued her dance education in college. She most recently graduated from The University of Alabama where she performed in Dance Alabama! as well as Dance Collection, both of which were run through the dance department, as well as teaching and choreographing for MJ’s Academy of Dance in Tuscaloosa. She is thrilled to be able to come back to her home studio and share everything she’s learned with the new dancers of Stephanie’s and be able to give back to the place where she learned so much.
