Stephanie’s Academy of Dance offers a FREE dance workshop to Girl Scout Troops. This workshop meets the requirements for the Brownie’s “Dancercize” Try It Badge as well as the Junior’s “Dance” badge.

The workshop lasts between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on the size of the group. It includes a video dance demonstration; stretching and warm-up session, a dance combination, and a 15 minute question and answer session. Girls should wear dancewear or loose fitting clothing and socks as they will be active participants in the workshop.

Badge workshops can be held on Wednesday afternoons, Friday nights, Saturday afternoons and Sundays. Workshops can also be coordinated to be held during days off from school. All workshops need to be scheduled in advance by calling 1-630-896-8277 and speaking with Stephanie.

Troop Leaders are responsible for supplying the actual badges and may bring refreshments for after the workshop if desired.
